I am much better than before, but my flu is not over. I had to go see a doctor because I was feeling something in my chest and did not want the flu to develop into bronchitis or pneumonia. I also went to an orthopedist yesterday as my right knee has been hurting me and I feel pain in the soles of my feet when I wake up in the morning since I got to Malaysia. In addition, I stumbled in the department store while leaving the fitting room. The edge of the trash basket hit the side of my painful knee so hard and the following day the whole knee area was painful and I was unable to walk or even go down a couple of steps. But since I have a long experience with bone and muscles problems and injuries, I took 2 muscle relaxants and rubbed it with voltaren emulgel before I went to bed and in the morning there was no trace of the pain. When the doctor examined my knee and the sole of my feet, he said that I am having the very early symptoms of osteoarthritis (which is part of the aging process). This is too bad, of course, because I do not know what I will do nor how I will feel when I am 60. He prescribed an anti-inflammatory and taught me a couple of exercise for the knee and feet. However, I think I have to fight osteoarthritis like I fought rheumatoid arthritis few years ago after I got the divorce. So yesterday, I bought cod liver oil and evening primrose oil and will start the diet, supplement and exercise program like I did before. The idea of aging scares me to death. I know you will laugh at me and think I am crazy. What is scaring me is that I am aging too soon and do not know why. Nobody in our family has arthritis neither on my mother’s side nor on my father’s side. I am the one who is starting this arthritis legacy.
