In Korea- 2

This is my first time in Korea. I like it although it is hard to communicate with people. Yesterday I went to the World Cup Stadium and to a shopping district. You would love to see the streets in that area at night. They remind me of Las Vegas. Today I took the bus for 3 and a half hours and went to the eastern part of Korea (Sokcho). There is a beautiful National Park (Sorak Mountain). I took 2 city buses to the park and then the cable car to the peak. You would love to see the green mountains and cool fresh air. Something like Oregon, Switzerland or Austria. They have a huge Buddha Statue surrounded by a square yard with a low wall. People were praying (kneeling, bowing and prostrating like Muslims with a hymn. The priest was beating a drum too). Japanese, Chinese and Korean worshippers take their shoes off. I am back at the hotel and I need to look at the map to see where I want to go tomorrow. I’ll be in Sokcho two nights only and then I will go back to Seoul. I left my suitcase at the hotel and only took my backpack with me with my laptop and some clothes for one day. Well, I’ll tell the next part of the trip tomorrow.
