Had breakfast, then went took the ferry boat to Antiparos “a five-minute ride, 60 cents for the fare. Collected rosemary leaves and flowers. Short and hard to cut. Took bus at 11 a.m. to the cave. I was sitting in the front seat. It went up the mountains and I could see the sea on the left and mountains in front and on the opposite side. Bought a ticket for 3:50 Euros. Went down 400 steps and up 400 hundred steps. It was a strenuous hike up. Cave was impressive with stalactites and stalagmites. Caught the 12:15 bus back to town and walked around town, in the back streets and looked at the souvenir shops, had an apple pie and iced tea. Took the 2 o’clock ferry back. Could not wait for the bus as it was too hot. So I went back to the hotel, prayed and took a nap. While waiting for the bus, I walked to the beach and collected stones. I took the 4:20 bus to Parikia (the city center where we got off the ferry. I walked around town, up and down the narrow streets, taking pictures of windows, flower pots, stairs, shops, doors, the curves. Many shops were closed. Had a meal at 6 p.m. walked along the shore and took pictures of the ships. Went to the Church and sat in the shade. Walked on the stones in the ground “Refloxology stones”, walked back to the port. I missed the 8:20 bus so I had to wait another hour. This way I had a chance to see the sunset, shops, port, restaurants and back streets again in the dark. I took pictures of the lit up streets, cafes and shops. I got to the hotel about 9:45 p.m. My friend were teasing me and asking me where I went and what I did. This is the second time I miss dinner. Dinner time was from 8:00-9:15 p.m.
