Woke up at 5 and had breakfast at 5:30. Forget my black jacket and remembered it when I saw Marianna’s daughter wearing her training suit. Left hotel at 6 a.m. to Piraseus Port. Got to the port at 6:30 a.m. Bus could not get close for security reasons. So we all got off and had to drag our luggage in the street. I had my laptop and red shoulder bag on trolly and pulled them in one hind and pulled suit case with the other. Had to go up 2 escalators on the boat. Peter helped store my suitcase in the luggage room. We went to the business lounge, with tables, couches and chairs, smoking and non-smoking sections. Could smell the cigarettes everywhere though. . I sat and worked on my laptop. Only 20 people went to the Island, 10 dropped out. Marianna’s daughter and her friend joined us. I went to theupper deck and took pictures of Piraseus city and port and ferries. Too many cruise ships (voda, Blue star).. all full of people. Trip lasted 71/2 hours from Athens to Santorini. Got Santorini at 3:00. It was difficult to get to my suitcase in luggage room. I went back and could see my bag but could not get to it. I managed to lift some bags and move some to take mine out. Mariana’s daughter and her friend helped me with the small ones. I managed to drag out and we all met outside the boat. Watched people come out pulling their luggage. We boarded the bus and it drove us up the hill to our hotel. Got to the hotel 4:30. hotel has bungalows, one row lower than the other. My room was in the ground floor with a balcony. I sat in the balcony and worked on my laptop.

Had dinner at 7 then took bus down to Kamari, a town down the hill.
