Got to Kalambaka at 6:00 p.m. A small town with narrow streets, red-roofed houses and cafes surrounded by Black Rocky smooth, limestone rock formations. Went for a walk along the streets and took pictures of the rocks. Houses have small rose and flower gardens. Had dinner with group at hotel from 7:30-8:15. Had salads, kofta, macaroni, water melon, honey dew and jelly. Went for another walk down the other side of the street. Cafes were crowded with people sitting in the open air, lit up fountains. Worked on the computer, then went for another walk 10-10:30 p.m. and looked at the souvenir shops which open late. Used internet café until 11:30. Went to bed at 12:00. AC was noisy.
