I took the bus and went to the Acropolis. Got off and walked along the side street that says “plaka”. Went to the entrance, walked along the bottom of the hill and surrounding areas and took pictures. Did not buy a ticket as visit was included the following morning. Walked along the side streets lokking at the souvenir shops: jewelry, jars, clothes, postcards, art shops. Shop keepers were trying to tempt me to buy. Too many cafes. Continued walking around the other side of the Acropolis, Cathedral, nuns in the yard. One nun begging. An auditorium is being built. More columns. 4 men with uniform and a skin head walked along several times singing and beating a drum. Walked up the underground station. Street venders like other place in the world.
